Terms of sale
Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. Who I am
Teeworks is a trading name of Taurat Ali, BA 707, Nexus Connect, Esh, Durham, DH7 9QR. Email: hello@teeworks.co.uk. These terms apply to every order for NFC Google review cards from this page.
2. Consumers and businesses
Many customers buy for their business. If you buy for your own business, you are a business customer and the rules for consumers (including the 14 day right to cancel) do not apply to you by law, although I give you the promises in these terms anyway. If you buy for purposes outside your business, you are a consumer and your legal rights are not affected by anything here.
3. Your order and the contract
What you see on this page is an invitation to order. When you pay through Stripe you are making an offer. A contract is formed when I send you an order confirmation by email. The receipt Stripe emails you straight after payment counts as that confirmation. If I cannot accept your order, for example because I cannot make a working link for your business or the item is out of stock, I will tell you and refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK delivery. The total you pay is shown at checkout before you pay. Stripe takes payment by card or the other methods it offers. I never see your full card details. If a price on this page is wrong, I will tell you before accepting your order and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. What you are buying
An NFC card programmed with the Google review link for the business you tell me about. PVC cards are about 100 x 100mm and acrylic cards about 120 x 120mm, with small manufacturing differences. Acrylic cards arrive with a protective film, which you peel off after fitting. Photos and the demo are illustrations. The card works with phones that have NFC switched on, and the customer may need a Google account to post a review.
6. Information you give me
You must give me the correct business name and Google Business Profile link. Your business needs a verified Google Business Profile for the review box to exist. I check that the link I build opens your review box, but I cannot be responsible for a card that opens the wrong page because the information you gave me was wrong. Email me and I will help you put it right.
7. Delivery
I deliver to UK addresses only. I aim to post within 5 working days after I have set up and tested your card, and Royal Mail tracked delivery usually takes 3 to 5 working days. These are estimates. I will deliver within 30 days of the day I accept your order unless we agree otherwise. The card becomes your responsibility when it is delivered to you. If your parcel does not arrive, tell me and I will sort it out (see the returns page).
8. Your right to cancel (consumers)
Consumers normally have 14 days from delivery to cancel an online order. Because every card is programmed with your own review link, it is made to your specification and clearly personalised. Once I have programmed your card the right to cancel does not apply. Before I start setting up your card you can cancel for a full refund. The returns page has the details and a cancellation form. This exception does not take away your rights if a card is faulty.
9. Faulty or wrongly described goods
I must supply goods that are as described and of satisfactory quality. If a card is faulty, damaged, the wrong size or does not open the review box I built it for, email me within 30 days of delivery with your order details and a photo. I will repair, replace or refund it at no cost to you. Consumers keep all their legal rights, including the right to reject faulty goods within 30 days and to a repair or replacement after that. Business customers have the promise in this clause and any rights the law gives them.
10. Reviews and Google’s rules
The card makes it easier for a happy customer to find your review box. I cannot promise any number of reviews or any rating. Google decides whether a review is published, shown or removed. You must follow Google’s review policies and UK law, which do not allow fake reviews or offering rewards for reviews without being open about it. You are responsible for how you ask your customers for reviews.
11. My responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow me to limit, and it does not affect a consumer’s legal rights. Beyond that, I am responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of my breaking these terms. If you are a business customer, I am not liable for lost profit, lost business or indirect loss, and my total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it.
12. Events outside my control
I am not responsible for delay or failure caused by things outside my reasonable control, such as postal strikes, severe weather or supplier failure. I will tell you if this affects your order and you may cancel and be refunded for anything not delivered.
13. Not affiliated with Google
Teeworks is independent. Google and the Google logo are trademarks of Google LLC. The cards take customers to Google’s own review page.
14. Complaints
Please email me and I will reply within 5 working days and aim to resolve things within 14 days. If we cannot agree, a consumer can also contact Citizens Advice.
15. General
These terms and the information at checkout are the whole agreement between us. If a part of them cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Nobody else has a right to enforce them. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can decide any dispute. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also use the courts there.
